Watercolor

Early this morning before morning meeting Oliver, Eli and Isabel made beautiful water color paintings on the table in the Daisies room and Evan and Sam built a track for their trains again on the rug with blocks. In the Sunflowers room, Ryan Casey and Ava looked for emergencies in the ambulance.
We sang Around and around at morning meeting and named our favorite bugs! Then Deborah had French with the Sunflowers and the Daisies read Beautiful Oops and talked about the art show. When the Sunflowers finished French we switched and we read Beautiful Oops to them. The Sunflowers also really enjoyed this book.

During work time, Sasha made pizza at the table with Nissa while Ms. Rebecca read Ava, Ashley and Margot Tikki Tikki Tembo. Tate, Isabel and Matthew worked in the doctor's office and then later on Matthew drew his self-portrait with permanent marker and watercolor. At one point, Mason made a parade with all the animals and Isabel, and Oliver joined in to help.

On the rug, Sam, Ryan Q, Ryan C and Evan made boats and trains with the leggos. In the other room, Rachel (from Tribeca) worked with some children on the beginning of what will be a batik for the art show.

During lunch the Daisies read The Foot Book and some Shel Silverstein poems and Edwin read the Sunflowers a library book about storms.
