First Day of School

What a great start to the school year! Today we were thrilled to see the children freely moving about the two classrooms and exploring the different materials. By the way the children greeted each other we could tell that they were extremely excited to be back at school as. Ava lit up when she saw Eli and immediately went over to give him a hug.

We also noticed that over the course of the day the children were working collaboratively in all areas of the classrooms with new friends as well as old. Lukas, Ryan Q, Izzie, Sasha and Sam worked for a long time in the writing center cutting with scissors while Ava, Margot, Ashley and Jake helped Jenny with circletime in the Sweet Peas classroom.

Today Luca was eager to show his teachers the shells he collected over the summer. Thank you to all the children who shared their summer memories with us!
