What was your favorite part of the apple picking trip? (part 2)

During morning meeting today we talked again about the apple picking trip and our favorite parts. We looked at photos from the trip and we also looked at some drawings the children made yesterday. 

Then we split up and some children made pinch pots and worked in the Daisy's classroom while the others had yoga for the first time with Lakshmi from Integral yoga! Then we switched.

During work time, we made apple turnovers with the apples we picked the other day on our trip and Alex, Tate, Sam, and Matthew drew their favorite part of the apple picking trip. 

During lunch the Daisy's class read Bark, George and then ate the apple turnovers! The Sunflowers class read the Little Old Lady Who wasn't Afraid of Anything and we talked about some of the things that make us scared (going to the doctor, leaving Mommy, going to sleep when it's dark) even though we are all very brave.
