We had French for the first time today. The children sang songs with our teacher, Deborah, about different colored fish in French.
The trains were popular today. Ryan Q had emergencies on his train and recruited fire fighters. Mason's dollhouse people boarded Tate's train to Central Park. Jake and Matthew built bridges and added tracks. Many children also collaborated in dramatic play as doctors. Mason and Tate brought their injured babies to Dr. Isabel. Later in the morning, Dr. Oliver and Dr. Ryan Casey also took care of sick babies. Eli, Alexander and Sasha flattened and cut floam together at the table and talked.
As art projects, some children painted bracelets to wear with their costumes tomorrow. Ashley, Isabel, Margot and Matthew also worked hard on connecting paper make chains and even made some crowns and necklaces too. Alexander, Izzie, Sam, Ashley, Ava and Alex made spiders out of model magic.
At our reflective meeting, we talked about how eating too much candy could make us sick. Each child received a toothbrush and toothpaste to ward off any Halloween cavities.
