All aboard the Polar Express!

We began morning meeting by singing Who Took The Cookie From The Cookie Jar followed by a few Xmas songs. Today we were joined by Frances, Sam's Mom for part of the morning and Frances even participated in yoga with us. After yoga the children ate pancakes and french toast in their pajamas. The children ate so many pancakes! Thank you to all the parents and caregivers who helped out!

When the Daisy's had their breakfast, Evan told us the weather and Alexander helped us with attendance.

After yoga and breakfast we had a short free play time where Margot, Mason and Sasha took a bus ride to a few different places, including, "Mimi and Pop Pops." Evan, Ryan, Alex and Sam built a train on the rug in the Daisy's classroom and Ava, Margot and Isabel took turns being mommies and babies.

After we cleaned up some children took blankets and mats and pillows and laid down on the rug as we read The Polar Express. Evan and Jake decided to sit in the chairs and ride the train as we read the book. Evan played the role of the conductor.
