Happy Thanksgiving!

Such a busy morning and today we were lucky enough to have some alumni join us for the festivities! Samantha (Ashley's sister) and Max (Jake's brother) spent the entire morning with us! We started off the day by singing If You're Happy and You Know It and then we talked about what makes us happy. The children had French with Deborah and then during work time we made pasta with butter and cheese and cut up peppers and carrots for our feast.

Isabel, Sam, Luca, Ashley, Margot and Oliver painted on cardboard and decorated the painting with glitter. Oliver made a Birthday card for his Papa and Luca made a very long necklace out of the lacing beads. Sam and Alex made another birdhouse in the block area and Ava, Tate and Matthew made dinner in their house and put out pretend fires.

Then at 11 o'clock, Alexander, Jake, Isabel, Lukas and Oliver accompanied Ms. Erica and Ms. Nissa (our student teacher) to West Side Market to buy turkey and stuffing. When we returned to school, all three classes ate together in the Sunflowers room with parents, grandmas and caregivers. It was wonderful to see the whole school community come together and share their food, hard work and friendship.
