Happy Birthday Luca!

Another birthday today! Today was another fun-filled day in celebration of Luca's fourth birthday. As we sat down we sand good morning and named our favorite vehicle (as per Luca's request) and then we sang The Ants Go Marching, also one of Luca's favorites.

The birthday troll came out and we played two rounds of the game followed by a a reading of Subway from Luca's mom Sher. Then Luca was presented with his present, a bird made of clay and feathers, and a card. The rest of the  morning was dedicated mostly to activities Luca enjoys. On one table trains and paint where out and Luca, Sasha, Mason and Evan got right to work making tracks with the paint.

On the rug, Luca, Ryan Q, Evan, Ryan Q, and Jake played with the magna tiles and made a train and a launch pad. In the doctor's office, Ava hurt her foot and Ashley and Isabel took care of her using a tool that did not hurt. On another table Matthew, Margot, Mason, Isabel, Sam, and Ryan Casey worked on stamping with bubble wrap.

On the brown rug, Lukas, Oliver, Alexander, Eli and Ryan Casey made a pirate ship while Ms. Rebecca worked with SAsha and Ryan Q on their last self-portraits of the year.

At one point Ms. Rebecca took Luca, Margot, Matthew, Tate, Jake and Ryan Casey outside to draw with chalk. Luca made lots of express trains and Margot drew the wind.

At the end of the morning we practiced for graduation  and then ate pizza, grapes and avodado and tomoato salad for Luca's birthday! As his friends left, Luca passed out baggies of candy to all his friends. Thank you so much to Sher for all the tasty treats and spending the morning with us!
